This launch celebrates our new freedoms as we are able to reunite with friends and family over dinners at home. Virginia Woolf wrote in A Room of One’s Own that “one cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well,” a statement that Tekla is clearly conscious of and a spirit that their collection imbibes.
At Lula we cannot wait to cosy up with our loved ones over a candle-lit dining table laden with Tekla’s beautiful linens over these colder months. Their products comprise a range of tablecloths, napkins, glass towels, kitchen towels, and aprons in heavy and light linens designed to last.
The colours echo those of a successful dinner: Stain, Apple Core, Claret, Duck Eggs, Porcelain, and Black, which pair perfectly with your favourite recipes. In our case that would be Nigel Slater’s pumpkin, ricotta, rosemary tart.
Photographer Koto Bolofo shot the campaign imagery, picturing the collection at a dinner with unique vintage plates and silver cutlery. Tekla sees the table as a canvas, which you are left to decorate and adorn as you like.
